When I saw the hard copy newspaper this morning, it really put me a funky mood for quite some time today. It was half page image of the King of Pop – Michael Jackson. It’s not like he was a dear or close friend, so why am I taking this so hard? I may never know.
Moving along…. This weekend my father is coming over for a belated awesome dinner. He is so excited about it. He loves home cooked meals. He didn’t realize how lucky he was until my mother passed away. The one thing I know he will always want and accept is a home cooked meal. It takes the guess work out of celebrating special occasions – lol.
There are a few hot rod events this weekend, but there is just too much I need to do at home and for my father this weekend, so I will not be attending any hot rod events this weekend. I also need to work on training my pup. I’ll tell you about her.
I recused a dog from the animal shelter about 6 weeks ago, or so. She is Boarder Collie and Black Lab Mix. Her name is Sasha – she is 6 months old now. I got her when she was just over 4+ months old. She is timid, but great with my 2 cats who think they run the household. She has a lot of emotional issues and I am not sure how to deal with them. We are in our 4th week of puppy training and will most likely have to take the course over again. Time will tell on that one………….
